Miss Erika
Miss Erika's life has always been filled with music! She has played the piano as a soloist and accompanist, she played clarinet in marching band and orchestra, and her choral singing has allowed her the chance to perform at Carnegie Hall! Miss Erika attended Tufts University where she studied Psychology and English. She participated in the Tufts Chorale, Early Music Ensemble and the Gospel Choir. After earning her bachelor's degree with honor, Miss Erika studied film production and sound editing at the Florida State University Graduate Film School.
Prior to becoming a Kindermusik educator, Miss Erika worked in the field of post-production film sound and taught science at the high school level for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
When she was a new mom, Miss Erika began bringing her three-month-old son to Kindermusik class and was amazed by the fun and learning she saw taking place in class. She made the decision then to become a Kindermusik educator! When she gets time to herself, she loves making art, spending time outside, discovering new recipes, and of course, singing! Music provides so much joy to Miss Erika's life. She is excited to share the wonders of music with your family!
